My Photo Blog

Thanks so much for stopping by! My quest for beautiful portraits began the moment my daughter came home. I wanted to photograph everything in hopes of holding onto every precious memory of her childhood. It became a passion. That passion only increased when we added to our family with our son. I hope to capture other families' most precious memories as well. My goal is to photograph portraits that you will absolutely love looking at everyday and smile when you do. Time and life fly by so quickly!

Crystal M

It was time for little Miss Eleanor's annual birthday photos today, and this year we celebrated Elle turning 7 years old!  What a little lady she has become as she read books, skated and giggled her way through the photo session.  It was really chilly this afternoon, but Elle handled it all like a trooper, and looked super cute doing it!
Crystal, I hope I was able to capture some of your little 7 year old's spirit.  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Julie R.

Julie, the baby whisperer, invited me into her beautiful home to photograph her beautiful baby girl Brynnley this afternoon.  Such a peaceful precious little angel.  And how lucky is this little girl to have three big brothers to watch over her as she grows up?!
Julie, thank you so much for contacting me.  Brynnley is an absolute doll!!!  Enjoy your preview!

Take time to enjoy....

During the holiday season, I tend to get so busy with the shopping and the preparing and the hustling and bustling to make everything perfect for my family that I wear myself out and don't sit back to take it all in.  I forget to enjoy the season.  I forget to FORGET trying to get that perfect photo and just enjoy the expressions on my little ones faces when they make those special cookies for Santa, or decorate their gingerbread houses in a way that only a 7 year old and 5 year old can.  This Christmas, I tried to relax a bit and not worry about making everything perfect.  Because they are only 7 and 5 years old once, and much sooner than I would like, they will be all grown up......
I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season with your loved ones, and may you have the most blessed of years in 2013!
