Crystal and Carl and their two little monkeys met me on the downtown square for their annual family photos.  The kids had so much fun throwing leaves, playing ring around the rosey and just being generally goofy!

Precious. Beautiful. Angelic. Sweet.  Just a few words I would use to describe baby Beau.  Just one week old, but already has the family, and the photographer, wrapped around his tiny little finger.  Diana and Blake were so kind to welcome me into their beautiful home to capture some of that newborn sweetness.  Baby Beau was a perfect little sleeping angel, and big brother Jax was at the ready with the sweetest smile and those brown eyes, that get me every time I see that little guy!

I've been looking forward to photographing Kristin and her adorable baby bump for so long, and the day finally came! Kristin looked stunning, as always, and we had such a good time laughing and chatting. We also learned a little about duck calling while we were hanging out by the pond. It's never a dull moment when my birthday twin and I are together!

One of my favorite families met me last night for their annual family photos.  This time I came prepared with Skittles, just in case Mr. Jake didn't feel like giving up the smiles.  I shouldn't have doubted this big guy though.  Jake was all smiles and cooperated in every way!!!  Brigette and Kenley looked lovely, as always, and the guys couldn't have been more handsome!  Brigette, thank you for always being so sweet and flexible.  I hope to see you all again soon!  Enjoy your sneak!

Mr. Gabe is now 5 years old and such a pleasure to photograph!  Gabe has become such a pro that this photo session just zoomed right by.  Nothing but smiles and silliness from this guy!  A far cry from just a few years ago when he was less than pleased with the whole picture taking experience. 
Crystal, thank you for bringing your big boy out to document his 5th year with me.  Gabe was a total delight and I can't wait to see the whole family in a couple of weeks!

I had the opportunity to photograph Charlie and her fantastic family over the weekend.  When our first choice of locations turned out to be a bust, due to a fall street festival, we ventured to an airplane park and down a tree lined road.  I've been photographing this easygoing family since little Dylan was just a bump in her mommy's belly, and now she's a feisty little (almost) 3 year old!  And Tyler is the ever perfect smiling child model.  And he works cheap, as he only charged me 2 pieces of bubblegum!  Charlie, thank you for contacting me for another fun family photo session!  I can't wait to see you guys next fall!!

Diana and her boys are some of the sweetest people around, so when she contacted me about photographing her soon to be family of 4, I was thrilled to be able to do it! It was about 100 degrees in the shade, but that didn't stop us from marching around the park to check out all of the things that might hold an active 3 year old boy's attention. Jax is just as cute and hilarious as ever, and I'm not sure how Diana managed to do it, but she made it through the hour long session without even breaking a sweat! The photographer, on the other hand, was a sweaty beast about 5 minutes in..... Diana, I always love seeing you and your wonderful family. I can't wait to meet that baby boy this fall. Brigette and her fun and easy going family were back to capture some more family moments, and this time we ventured out to Deep Ellum.  Aside from people panhandling for change, and Grandma almost cutting her toe in half on a giant bolt, it was a great session!!  The kids were as cute as ever!!!  Kenley has a gift for making her cousin Miles laugh, which produced some of the sweetest photos, and Jake had his best photo session to date, flashing that super cute grin of his!!

Bluebonnets and Happiness!

My favorite photos of my children are always taken in the beautiful Texas bluebonnets.  These flowers are not only lovely, but they bring such happiness to my kids, who quite frankly are pretty sick of me putting a camera in their faces!  So no bribing or coaxing is ever required in our annual trip to the bluebonnets field for photos.  Just genuine happiness....
