My Photo Blog

Thanks so much for stopping by! My quest for beautiful portraits began the moment my daughter came home. I wanted to photograph everything in hopes of holding onto every precious memory of her childhood. It became a passion. That passion only increased when we added to our family with our son. I hope to capture other families' most precious memories as well. My goal is to photograph portraits that you will absolutely love looking at everyday and smile when you do. Time and life fly by so quickly!

Dana H.

Dana, Aunt Brandi and the twinsies followed me to the park yesterday with the sole mission of getting a photo of Kannon and Emerson.  Together. Smiling.  Easier said than done, but in the end, I prevailed and those two little two year olds hugged it out and gave a smile that made it all worth it!  In all seriousness, I had a lot of fun and definitely got a workout in!!
Dana, enjoy your sneak peek!!

Diana R.

This photo session was actually planned for a few weeks back, but due to blistering cold wet weather, Diana and I decided to reschedule.  I'm so glad that the leaves were all still around for the boys to play and enjoy them! I love Diana and her family so much and always feel like I'm at home when I'm with them!  You really can't get much cuter than Jax and Beau!  Both of them all boy, and just as active as they can be!!   Diana, I'm glad we finally got to make this session happen!  Enjoy your sneak!

Charlie H.

Charlie and her fun family of four have been coming to visit me every Fall since they were a fun family of three!  Although Dyllan's personality is so big that I think she should count for more than just one person!!!  These two kids kept me on my toes, and I tried my best to wear everybody out by walking about 3 miles down a train track!  In the end, I'm pretty sure those kids earned their trip to the hot tub.
Charlie, it's always a good time hanging with your crew and I love to see how much your cuties have grown since the year before!!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Crystal M.

The M family are such  easy going and seasoned models that it took me no time at all to snap their photogenic smiles and poses.  Crystal and her gang are always up for whatever and wherever I drag them to, including old fire engines and tractors!!
Crystal, your family was one of my first to photograph and I'm so grateful for your support!!  I hope you enjoy your sneak!!

What do you get when put 3 adults, 4 kids (my kid included)  a heavy chair and a trip to an old farm??  A recipe for laughter, frazzled nerves and a cranky baby.....no, I'm not talking about the 10 month old either!  ;-)  All jokes aside, the scenery was beautiful.  The outfits were spot on, and the company was fun and relaxed!
Kristin, I'm guessing Glammy is going to be texting me asking to take her photos off of the blog, however I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!  Love ya!!

Tiffiny S.

Tiffiny and Matt, and their two very tall kids came out for some family photos last night.  Sometimes taking photos isn't the most  entertaining thing to do on a Sunday evening, but everybody put their best smiles on and followed me around the square for an hour.
Tiffiny, it was a treat to meet your wonderfully sweet family, and Makayli, thanks for the tip on the curling iron!!  Your hair is gorgeous!!  Enjoy your sneak!

Brigette K.

One of my favorite families met me out, by what is left of our local lake, for some fall family photos.  The wind was blowing and it was starting to drizzle, but that didn't dampen the adorable cousins smiles.  Brigette, thank you for bringing your beautiful family out for another fun photo session!  Enjoy your sneak!!

When you're as cute and happy as Rhett Boone, one photo session a month just isn't enough!  I could actually photograph this boy everyday and not get tired of it!!
 I love you Mr. Rhett!!
Love, Auntie Diane

Ginger B.

Brad and Ginger are getting hitched!!!  I can't tell you how happy I am for my sweet friends!  And I was even happier when Ginger asked me if I would take their engagement photos.  We had a few different outfit changes, a few different locations, and a few different props, including dogs, but everything went off without a hitch (No Pun Intended!). Ginger and Brad, I'm so thrilled for you guys and I can't wait to see what a beautiful married couple you will make!
